If anyone's been in the smash speculation scene for a while, the name Geno's Probably shown up at some point. But why is that?
Well in this video, I explain his history, why people want him, and his relation to Super Smash Bros.

Last Smash Fighter was annouced, not surprised it wasn't Geno. But VERY happy it was Sora.

Him and Dixie Kong have been the two characters I've wanted since Melee.

Now If we ever get a new smash bros I'll be rooting a little bigger and hope for Master Chief in Smash

In hindsight, looking back at this video.
Square wasn't THAT picky with Ultimate. Sure Wii U and 3DS and base game had very little.
Hero, Sephiroth, AND Sora. Plus new FF songs, Mii's etc. they got a lot more.

I'm one of those washed up people whom first look up videos on geno on video, clicks on every video of geno with clickbait-ish thumbnails like a kid in a candy store, thus contributing to the messed up YouTube algotharm

Personally I think square would rather add a character from their own franchise like final fantasy and dragon quest instead of geno, but there are people who want geno like on sakurai or whoever is taking over the next smash bros games radar. I do like geno but he is a good character I just feel sorry for him.

I disagree Geno should have been in the place of Sephiroth. Final Fantasy didn't even deserve to have a second full character, Sonic and Metal Gear did, as they were waiting for 12 years to have a new character, instead of FF's 5 years.
I dont even like Super Mario RPG, but I know not including Geno was messed up.
