I don't know, but If one of these idiots succeeds at deleting Trump, I can see people popping off.

"it's easier to have a war than to give the other side power"...is an interesting sentiment.

You make a compelling argument. On the other hand, how many people are gonna get off their butts and go fight. I just don’t think most people have it in themselves.

Nothing will happen until people can't eat and enjoy their tv shows in peace.

What if it’s not a practical war? I see the polarization, self-sorting, and rending of relationships that become normalized since Covid. My hometown grocer didnt have broccoli or carrots yesterday, incidating major supply chain issues. People are losing their jobs over their political beliefs. Religious congregations are schisming and leaving their most devout members without a home church. Everything from housing to healthcare is becoming harder to access by those who aren't annointed. The schools conspire to remove children from parents who have unfashionable politics. People are getting encouraged to kill themselves through assisted suicide. Now I’m sounding like a pundit. I'm a 32-year-old mom of 3 with a liberal arts degree processing ten years of deprogramming (in large thanks to you!)

It’s a psychological and cultural war. It’s been ongoing, and I’m not convinced shots need be fired in an organized sense. It'll be a civil war in spirit, there will be isolated cities and communities that go to Hell, and people will die for many of the classic reasons such as poverty and famine, but I’m not convinced we’ll see the widescale mobilization and violence invoked by the words “civil war.”

What a lot of people fail to understand is that civil wars don't start when the majority feel the need to fight. They start when powerful enough minorities decide to fight and start giving everyone else the ultimatum of are you with us or against us while pointing a gun at their head.
Most wars aren't fought by people dedicated to a cause or government, most people are simply fighting because it's the best out of the bad options they had available.
A lot of Americans aren't currently willing to fight, but it's clear that the minority that are are growing in number on both sides. All it will take is a big enough spark to set off a pretty horrific series of events.

People saying nothing ever happens; majority of people said exactly this a month before the Russo-Ukrainen war. majority of the people had this attitude in months leading up to the 2008's economic disaster. People (in the first few days, weeks) of Covid said "nah, it's nothing special". Yet all of these events occured. Every vector points toward a civil war. The only counterargument i really hear is "nah people are lazy for that" etc. We can't imagine it, because we've never seen anything like that. But that doesn't mean it won't happen.

There aren't 2 sides of the government. They all work together to give us the illusion of choice and freedom.

We are in a sad state of affairs. The system is collapsing. Hang on for your life. It could all be fixed if our politicians would be honest and truthful and follow pragmatic ways of doing things. They have completely run off the rails.

Can you do a video of what the society after this war would be like? Walk us through a left or right victory, how would the government or lack there of reorganize, and how would other countries react/get involved?

I heard a quote that went something like "those who dont govern themselves WILL be governed by others". The issues IMO is that people are only working with like minds instead of balancing with the rest of our fellow americans. I cant say I have a master plan, but who's on board to figure something out instead of letting the feds and corporations figure out more of the same?

When people say civil war, especially in a US context, you can't help but picture a rerun of the first US civil war. The civil war in Myanmar is probably a better template though - a central government and its military fighting a patchwork of militia groups only loosely aligned with each other in their hatred for the central government.

There's lots of ways for a war to go down without large army on army set piece battles.

2024? I don't think so.
2025 on the other hand I'm very bullish on it.
