I followed this video step by step. I still can't open .exe files.. Downloaded Kaspersky from their site.. But exe file will not run. Nor any other exe file..

And now my system restore has no restore points.. they have all be wiped out after following this video steps.Is there anyway to get the restore points back?

When I click on a .exe file it just flashed a box real fast.. but never opens.. there is no error.
