Just used this on my 2013 f150. I have been messing with this for almost an hour. The service for the health report is discontinued but other than that the process in this video still holds true. The website tutorial is so far from what this was. Thank you so much for the walkthrough!

Thanks for this. Ford website/instructions had none of the details you included in your video. I followed yours along and was finally able to install the update on my 2014 F150. According to Ford, this update is a simple plug and play but that is not the case. Thanks

PSA!!! The Ford website claims you should format your flash drive to exFAT, but this did not work for me! It would not recognize the files. A website said to use FAT32 instead, which is correct!

This helped me. Even though navigating the menus was still a little tricky. I just installed it yesterday. Love being able to see the current track playing and that it auto reconnects bluetooth. Cheers mate. I'm taking it to Ford today for a recall issue (minor) and would of had to pay $130 for them to update if I didn't figure it out. (2013 Escape)

so I'm assuming if the vehicle report not available I can still update without doing that step in 2024. I'm updated my car it was used but I have problems with sometimes saying that there's no Bluetooth device available even when my phone says its connected. yes I have the files on a flash drive.

I have a 2013 edge sel and there is no health report available, in fact it says it’s been discontinued but a cs rep with ford said it could be done at the dealership

It appears (at least for my 09 f150) I can't even download the update. My truck is registered on the site, which says updates are available, yet the option to download to usb is gone. I can only "find a dealer", which defeats my purpose of trying to do it myself.
So how are you supposed to follow usb upgrade steps (still listed on ford's site) when they hide the files to download?

For whatever reason it’s just getting stuck on the installation complete my radio doesn’t reboot or anything. I’ll let it run about 2030 minutes. Not sure if I did something wrong or what.
