This brings to mind the story about US soldiers in Afghanistan coming into conflict with a red haired giant who is believed to be one of the Nefilim, newly awakened?

In Syria, my father's family are villagers and farmers, my grandmother used to tell stories about the "horut" which means big or massive, the village is one of the new villages that were built around farming in the last 80 years so they cut the trees of the evergreen forest to farm, here is where thes giants stories come from, it said that they live in the long trees which helps hide thire size... My father and uncle said that they saw one of these giants while they were in the field in a full moon, clear sky night...

L.A. Marzulli interviewed soldiers who encountered a giant in Afghanistan. Interesting interview. Apparently the locals speak about red haired cannibal giants who live in caves.

I don't know if your religious but you should look into the nephilim. These are Giants that walked the earth. Many suspect Goliath to have been one of them.

The History Channel had a TV show a year or two back called "In Search of Lost Giants" it proved that throughout America there were many reports of remains of Giants. What was strange was that almost in every case the remains were taken by the Smithsonian who refuse to comment.
The show was cancelled fairly quickly, though it was very compelling.

Due to the overwhelming number of testimonies from soldiers that were in Kandahar Afghanistan around 2002, and who participated in the killing and or transportation of a 10-12 foot tall red-haired giant to Wright Patterson Air Force Base, I have come to the conclusion that there are giants hidden in various remote regions throughout the world.  North, Central, and South America, The Solomon Islands, and Afghanistan are just a few of the locations.  These Raphaim giants ARE NOT to be confused with creatures such as sasquatch, the skunk ape, or the Jeti--although a mitochondrial DNA relationship may eventually be established between a lot of these groups.

In isabell province in the Solomon islands has a cave and legend says to be a giants cave the giants footsteps are still there.No one goes into that cave because they are too scared, I know this because i'm from isabell province

I am from the Solomon Islands, I know giants do exist because small mythical people called kakamora also exist there in Solomon islands, and many people have seen them, even one of our village in the province of Makira have kept one and his grave is still there. And those giants fighting is also true some locals who fought also seen those giants but they didn't attack them as they say. The end 😊

I read the book "the Solomon Curse" which has its own account of how giants exist on that archipelago.




At the end of the book it talks about a secret massive cavern with multiple giant's entombed more than 2000 years ago, with real skill in jeweling, weaving clothes, and polishing. Over the story it made it pretty obvious that something including giants would occur, and at the end 17 foot humanoids were discovered.

Strange, I did a 6 month deployment to the Solomons back in 08, I never heard anything about giants, plenty of stories about the ghosts of Japanese soldiers though.

very intriguing... i spent some time in Iceland late last year and a lot of the locals have very deep set beliefs in giants and elves... some swearing they've seen elves recently too...

I remember back in 2004. A similar incident like that happend. It wasn't really a news to the native coz people hear stories like this all the time. . but this time the story gotten so big that it ended up on the news papers coz the 3 people who saw the giants were foreigners (asians). There were about 10 people at the time of the incident, but only the 3 of them that got there first saw the 2 giants. One was sitting ontop of a bulldozer and the other one stood there and gazed out into the horizon. The witnesses were shocked, they froze for a few minutes and came running back to the other loggers. Some said they must have destroyed old graves or sacrificial areas there.

I have a book titled The Giants of the Solomon Islands. Apparently the giants have given up their human eating was at the behest of their ruler. They now tend to leave each other in peace-giants and humans. Though the incidents in WW2 were the giants defending their home and the natives from the Japanese soldiers. The Allied soldiers were never bothered as the giants saw that they were defending the islands. And the giants that picked up the truck stuck in the mud were downright helpful and even friendly. The incident with the bulldozer blade cold have been a giant's idea of a prank or else he stubbed his toes on the damn thing in the dark, got pissed and threw it, much like many of us would do after stepping on a Lego in the dark barefoot.
