How did Bandai Namco mishandle this so bad to the point of being in a money pit? Just listen to the fans and release the game they want. Amazon didn't do any favors with getting a global released hyped with their insistence on censoring the game either.

These companies are hopeless. The community tells them what we want out of a game, they ignore it, and then are surprised when they don't make money. Not only that, they continue to release games first in their home country for a fraction of the profit they would have made if they released it globally to begin with.

At least we can be grateful that Amazon games will never get its hand on this.

I already expected this because the devs showed that they were clueless on how to develop the game.

They fumbled the bag before they finished stitching the bag together.

Im sad to hear that this game is gonna never get the release it deserved but it was seen a mile away from so many ppl when the JP version released and everyone globally used a VPN to play the game just to get banned. now the bans seem comical cause it saved many of us time wasted on a game doomed to fail

If it was any publisher other than amazon the game would have been out a year ago. Their insistence on talking a full year to censor and localize the game played a massive part in its death. Amazon needs to shut down their game division and stay the hell away.

Trust me, it’s probably a good thing. Blue protocol is not getting a global release because if memory serves Amazon was going to be doing the port and Amazon is all about diversity equity and inclusion rings of power anyone?

Not surprised.

i knew something like this would happen when the censorship came to light.

Wow how unexpected, I legit said this 1 year after it was announced and ppl back then flamed me so hard, it was obvious this will flop, they failed to ride the wave, all that hype was taken by Genshin and they weren't even planning the release at that point. BP was only good to set up the market for Genshin and that's it.

On the bright side, that means Amazon can't ruin the game!

MASTERCLASS from Bandai-Namco how to kill the most hyped and anticipated MMO in just a few steps. (Amazon-Edition)
In the meantime we get bombarded by crappy gatcha mobile games every single well, back to playing Skyrim.

This could have been a money printing machine, if they just followed the simple formula of oppai, fun combat, and fun exploration. But no, they had to chase the mythical "larger audience" and this is what it has got them. Self-inflicted .

Ugh.. 🙄 No where has Bandai said it’s no longer coming globally. Yes, financially Bandai’s online gaming sector is hurting, but it isn’t gone. Overall Bandai is doing well and I doubt it’ll close the Online Games sector. They’ll find a way. Amazon is still planning to publish the game and even the JP team made mention in the interview with Famitsu that Global
is still in the plans to release globally in 2024. That could change obviously but as of right now 2024 is still the target. AGS is waiting on the green light from Bandai.

At least we wont need to see it die in the bad management of Amazon Game Studios.

id rather never have it, then have amazons censored mess. Also called this way back when AGS got their hands on the game while at the same time they were fumbling the game all over the place in JP when all they had to do was listen to their actual community.
