Oh well, most MMOs are delayed. Also, I remember about Fate/GO had delayed because they have struggle translate into English until 2 years. And Fate/GO (NA) still got a lot of players. So, Blue Protocol still could be popular no matter if it's still delaying or not. It's all depends on Blue Protocol.

I'm a Blue Protocol player, and I think it's worth continuing to play this game. Recently, the fatal problem of multiplayer dungeon battles has been solved (network delays and game crashes). Game content such as clothes and mounts can be obtained through gacha. This is like a social game, and I'm not sure if it will be well received overseas. The action and cute design are the recommended points of this game. You can become a cute girl. I think the reason this game has not yet been released overseas is due to overseas publishers (Amazon, etc.). It's a black box.

Thank you Brian for having some hopium. Seriously. Thats why i enjoy watching your videos so much. I try to be one of the first to watch and im not usually one to speak up all that much due to the introvert thing. That being said i commented on mmobytes video that you featured in this video (before you dropped this video) because tbh im sick of his constant doom posting. He has some good content sometimes which is why i follow him but lately everything he posts is just doom posting and negativity. If you know anything at all about MMOs, its exactly like you said, people are gonna complain about them a whole bunch at first about lack of content, drop rates etc but they will eventually overcome it. Happened with WOW, FFXIV and many others. FFXIVs 1.0 was rough. The game essentially flopped. Now look at it competing with WOW. If Blizzard can do it with WOW and Square Enix can do it with FFXIV, I strongly fail to see why a big company like Bamco that is notorious for amazing releases like elden ring and such to not be able to turn BP around just like the others. BP feels really good. I also played JP on release as well. Its one of the best games Ive played. Felt smooth, amazing combat and absolutely stunning graphics. I dont see why that BP cant be in the future, one of the big goliaths that compete with WOW or FFXIV. Compared to those dinosaurs, the action combat is an amazing refreshment for MMOs as a whole. All they need to do is revise it a little. If FFXIV can basically spit out a whole new game, so can BP right? Especially if they got a company like Bamco backing it. I highly doubt they are gonna let it fail like that. Theyre already making steps to improve the game and have a whole roadmap for it. If you think they arent trying to improve the game then you clearly have not been paying attention to the game. Ive been following BP religiously for years now. Dont believe me? Watch their livestreams. Anyways, I hope this leaves yall with some hopium as I can say with 100% confidence, they arent giving up. If they release the game now it is doomed to fail because of the already established goliaths aka WOW and FFXIV big releases. Give it time. Thanks again Brian for everything you do. I greatly appreciate the hard work and the insight to the game dev world.

I'm so glad to hear someone else say that. I hate mobile gaming as a whole. I don't get either, but then again, I'm an old school gamer as well. If I can't play anything on my consoles, then I'm not gaming

The thing is if you look for Mobile Games they are not only on Phones but Computer mostly on Steam.

As a JP Blue Protocol player all I can say is that Blue Protocol is amazing. Notice that the majority of the “issues” with the game is that people outside of Japan can’t play it. Doesn’t seem like an “issue” to me, seems like it’s what was intended. As you mentioned, if this was all about the financials, they wouldn’t have mass banned every non Japanese player that attempted to play and pay….financial is not the reason it hasn’t released globally. Which was MMOBYTES whole talking point

played blue protocol jp i think the game really looks good and what makes it unique from other MMO is how the dungeon runs are i think its the best 3d anime mmo i played just based on dungeons i really dont know why they delay the release so much i think the game is more than complete and it will blow on global and asia servers they might actually get their loss from releasing it global now

I love my free to play games I can’t buy game in this economy anymore to experience. BP add housing and raids and dungeons idk the JP version as far as I’ve seen been doing good

I've always wanted an anime-aesthetic MMO that I can sink my teeth into. For more than half my life. So maybe I am huffing up on the hopium here but I am still eagerly awaiting a global release.
In the meantime, I have become a gacha gamer to hold myself over (don't judge me. 😅). I also have GW2.
But Amazon's silence is definitely really concerning.

if EA can sell a new Madden every year for $60-$70 with worse and worse mechanics; I think pay to play would be way more acceptable and would be willing to pay for this game that doesn't glitch like a shitty shiny gift from EA

Sadly the reception of the game in the west is a fear of p2w and gacha. And in jp they now put more p2w stuff into the shop, without paying you cant compete on the higher levels and sadly late game is not rewarding enough. Even if the game is released its probably already dead before arrival.

Taiwan and south korea versions are releasing on december 13 i wish they consider making taiwan the main server for SEA
