I really would like a career that allows me to help people directly. Ive watched Nightwachers; a show that follows first responders (primarily focusing on EMS and paramedics). And i find it extremely interesting. Watching them being the 'calm in the storm' is really what draws me to this career path!

Awesome! I love how you included the 16personalities test. I got results that I knew I’d get ENFP-A/T (I have a MS in clinical counseling) & the career results were all about psychology & entrepreneurship…but I’m still curious about being an EMT. Ever since I was a super young kid, like 4 years old I was fascinated my the medical field & would devour anything related…books, shows (I was obsessed with the 80’s show EMERGENCY, lol) & wanted to be a MD. Unfortunately I stopped trying to be a doctor when I learned how much school you needed & didn’t feel “smart” enough. Thanks again for this vid! 😊

I would love to become an AEMT for about a year and get experience then become a paramedic. I was discouraged for a while because I got a DUI when I was 19 and now I'm 27. I was told it would be pretty much hard for me to get certified or a job. I recently talked with an ex Navy Corpsman who is now a paramedic who said he has had some before but it didn't affect him getting the job. I'm going to give this a shot. I'm empathetic and love helping people and have always been interested in medicine.
