I have a semi built Arlan and I honestly always thought he aint far behind the other 4* DPSs and at max build he is probably one of the better ones, his main downside (once built, coz unbuilt he just dies) is that the electro competition is really big. His playstyle is pretty unique tho so if there are ppl who dont have a Jing nor do they plan to go for Kafka - I d say build our boy (especially if you have his LC)...the fact he doesnt use really skillpoints is great, and if you have a Gepard you can really do some great damage with him while keeping him low health and safe.

When I played him in the event I was just as surprised, and was like “yo is this how Arlan actually plays??? It would be badass if so.” Sadly it was an event buff 😂

Hes a four star Hu Tao! Use E, you get your HP drained to give better dmg. The lower your HP while you do your alt, the more dmg.

The first time I saw him, I thought he was a destruction fire type so I built my Serval first and then I realized when I'm about to build him that he's a lightning one 🤣. I already have my Jing Yuan at that time too so he was left on lv20 🥲. Sorry, my bad 🤣

don't let the Mihoyo event manipulation fool you, this is far from realistic gameplay; they already do it in Genshin whenever you get trial characters in an event and I'm disappointed they're using the same tactics again to try and convince players that characters are better than they really are

I love Himeko for waifu value but I also want her just cuz I think her kit is cool and kinda niche currently but will gain value in the future; but I ain't gonna deny she's probably the worst 5 star in game regardless of how good she is, and lo and behold, it looks like she's also getting her own stage in this event to try and gaslight people into thinking she's better than she actually is


It is nice to finally experience how Arlan works, but at the same time, I know it's a false understanding, and the reality will inevitably be less satisfying and less strong

arlan aint that bad if you have a good shielder, his ability never uses skill points so he can be a great sub-dps.
