I purchased a Sim Max Taylor Made after using a Callaway Warbird 10.5 degree loft. The warbird was going too high and would take off to the right near the end of the flight path (I am right handed). Now I can reduce the loft on the new driver. Tried 8.5 and then 9 and then 9.5. The difference is amazing. Finally settled on 9.5 and my distance has increased with much less spinning away to the left. Lower flight path. Drove 260 yds. Play off 12 handicap at Sudbury in London. I am 62 years.

And……..Reduce heights of your tee, have 9* driver but set at 10, 5* is a lot better than a standard 10, 5* driver .
Good and simple explanation …no 20 min talk to conclude a 2 min straight inf.❤

Great concise and to the point video. I am pretty sure I have way too much spin loft. I have about 118 mph club speed and typically carry the ball 240-260m with a ball speed of 170-ish but the ball almost never rolls out and often actually bounces back. I have lofted my driver down to 7.5 all in an effort to lower spin but I wonder if I should focus on lowering the dynamic loft or increasing the angle of attack? Very often, the easy swings carry the same and actually roll out, but I want to maximize my potential.

I struggle with way too much spin with the driver. I was fit recently at my home club on trackman. I was surprised to hear that I was launching around 13-14 degrees with an attack angle of 3is up. So I'm not hitting down on the ball but my spin rates were above 3000 and the height of the ball flight was very high. I have a Titleist 917 D2 9.5 degree set at D1 which brings loft to 8.75. Can't figure why I'm spinning it so much.

So don't hit up on the driver?? Thought everything out there is about hitting the driver with ascending blow ?

But where do you get your swing speed if you hit it like that

This makes no sens at all. How come this is the only person on youtube saying you should lower your loft to get distance when all others say the direct opposite. Makes me kinda mad actually
