Great video, I was the other way… S2+ 9.0* was only spinning 1500, moved to the 10.5* and spin went up 2000-2100, carry went up 20 yards. All about optimizing the variables to play together 👌🏼

Last time I hit in a monitor I got like around 4, 000rpm backspin. I tee the ball lower than most people don’t know if that effects it. Not with my driver setup though random one at a golf store. I’ve always gotten very very little roll out with a driver.

Another great vid, you suggested if your path is way over the top and hit down on the ball then best get lessons. I hit up on the ball but my path is out to in anywhere between 2-6 degrees. Swing on average is 97mph with to much spin playing 9.5 rogue st max. Would a different head help or again would you suggest lessons.

Great content analysis on the spin rate. I noticed Rahm, Colin M usually hit fades and are pretty long.. are their spin rates less than 2500? Lesson learned here. Thanks for sharing

I swing up 3-4° consistently. Use a low launch low spin stiff shaft with 9° driver head. I hit high in the face typically. Should I lower the loft or maybe get a stiffer shaft? I only swing about 105-110 mph so not sure if x stiff will help but what do I know

This understanding then subsequent change worked for me too. Same swing, same shaft, but different head with lower loft and I gained between 20-30 yards. My previous head just delivered far to much spin. Gone from circa 3, 500 to about 2, 400 spin. Now carry a bit further AND get some roll.

Important info here! Would be curious to see the trade off between decreasing loft vs moving weight closer to club face. Is it simply a delivery of the clubhead preference? For example TSR4 at 8* heavy weight back or TSR4 at 9* heavy weight forward. Cool dog btw!

I have a 9 degree driver that I can lower to 7* if I need. Some shots im getting 5000-6500 spin. Defintely hitting low on the face.

Ross, my spin loft is always sub 10deg. Swing / delivery tweaks is what I need, however have you seen less tip stiff shafts help in the area?

I have club head speed of 108MPH and struggle to put spin on the ball, had a S2+ 10.5 and could hit some long ones but they would spin at 1500.
Went to a G430 and still struggle to get spin above 2100. Have no idea why?

So weird I’m totally different that everyone here. I hit pretty straight but my spins are 5500 rpm. Sometimes 6000. I need to hire someone to figure out what’s going on.
