for those who don't know. the out of bounds glitch is used in speedruns to skip basically half the game (you only have to complete the tutorial world and some levels in the first island of the petal isles until you gather 10 wonder seeds and then they just glitch past world 2 and 3 after they glitched past the entirety of world 1 post tutorial world)

The fake piracy screens seldom fail to irritate me because for older hardware they tend to lean on design chaices that are distinctly-modern or otherwise beyond what the hardware in question can quite do, while for newer games you get this weirdly-strict formula that goes against best practices in ways that just make no sense while also being unrealistically hostile in tone and also having this immersion-breakingly bad portrayal of copyright law and its enforcement. At least the Piracy Is No Party series had the decency to (eventually) imply that it was the work of one or more rogue devs. And, of course, they also really muddy the waters when people searh for actual piracy mitigation measures - some of them do break design conventions as well, but in far more sensible ways (i.e. having the game experience gradually degrade, treating detected copies as though they were sample versions, having all your guns fire harmless chickens instead of bullets, or replacing the ending with a popup box containing a stupid message to trick pirates into publically outing themselves as such). In any case, the answer's always the same: if you want the full experience, you gotta pay for it.

Myth: In the level “Sproings in the Twilight Forest”, the Wonder event for the stage stretching is based on who crouches first, so if player 1 crouched first and then player 2 crouched, and player 2 stopped crouching, the surroundings would follow player 1’s crouched staye
