This video is a compilation of most of my other Mario myths videos that I have made over the years.

How is it "Myth Busted" if the Astronaut Helmet does stop the Spikes from getting on his nose? It only didn't protect him when you threw Cappy, but as soon as Cappy came back they were removed

How is 2:12 considered busted? The myth as you said out loud is ""If Mario is wearing the astronaut suit, he can never get spikes in his nose when he touches a cactus." He only gets the needles in his nose when you throw Cappy, meaning he's not wearing it, and they dissapear when you get Cappy back on. So that's confirmed, imo.

about trying to get a hart from bouncing on normal goombas: maybe the 8, that you tested, where not enough, maybe there is a minimum of 10 or something needed.
At the mini yellow ones afterwards, you bounced on way more of them.

2:12 Myth as written: "The astronaut suit will protect you from the spikes of a cactus." Still untested, as only the helmet was worn, so possibly Mario took damage to his body.
Myth as spoken: "If Mario is wearing the astronaut suit, he can never get spikes in his nose when he touches a cactus."
The test involved wearing the helmet alone; this protected him aesthetically from having the spikes in his nose as long as he was actually wearing the helmet, to the "point" where even spikes he got in his nose while the helmet was in mid-flight disappeared upon the helmet's return.
Not sure how "busted" comes from that.
