Is another storm brewing behind Hurricane Milton?

On the heels of Hurricane Milton, social media is ablaze with talks of another storm. While another tropical system in the Gulf of Mexico is possible within in the next week to ten days, there is a lot of misinformation going around.

Milton was scary wow i never expected the high winds and rain and the storm surge i been living in Florida now for 20 years i can handle snow storms but these hurricanes are the pits i just might go back up north

We evacuated to Orlando from Lakeland. The whole time we were gone, I couldn't help wondering if it wasn't a waste. When I got home, I was so glad my family was there for that.

It’s a trending topic because we’ve just been hit twice in two weeks and when Milton started getting close, a lot of forecasters were hyping it up too much, while others were not giving it enough hype. I knew about Milton a week and a half out and I’m glad I did because I would have been sadly unprepared. No time is too much time to have to make decisions that could save your life. Traffic on major highways was backed up for miles. Some of that was because some waited too long but some of it was also because information was flipping and flopping up to the last minute. I say, if you know there is even the slightest possibility, don’t shrug it off. Start preparing as far out as possible. The worst that could happen is you have extra supplies. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Those little somethings and predicted washouts turn into Miltons and Helen’s and cat 5s, there wasn’t any warm fuzzy feeling then Helen and Milton happened.

Milton was the replacement name, from Micheal in 2018 which made landfall on October 10th while Milton made landfall on October 9th, that’s crazy

I had a gut feeling another was brewing, so I searched it up on the wind radar, and there it is. 7 days after the 10th. It looks like it might go to Texas, but it may curve and go to Florida, then to GA, and then South Carolina again, like halene.

Of course there will be many more hurricanes, the waters have Never been warmer and are increasing in temps
