I think one of our problems in this country is our fervent indignation about having rights and then totally ignoring the fact that rights come with great responsibility. We all have to work together to preserve our rights, but it can't be at the expense of compassion, integrity, honor and our responsibility to our fellow man (citizen and immigrant) no matter their gender, race, religion, or sexual orientation.
