CPR on a child should be one handed. Attempt to push down 1/3 the depth of their chest. Always start with 5 rescue breaths on a child.

Wouldn't it make more sense to turn a drowned kid upside down and squeeze their diaphragm than lying them on their back while their lungs are full of water? Gravity can be your friend. Same with a choking kid, probably better if they're upside down when you squeeze the piece of food out than lying on their back and inhaling it again.

If your child is young or special needs and there is a pool around you should automatically have a life jacket on them, no ifs or butts about it, her excuse was she was with her four month old, come on now use common sense, there is a pool fool he could should be arrested for child neglect, not sympathized with cause he almost died, she should be held responsible ..
