China launches three days of military drills in Taiwan Strait

China launched military drills around Taiwan on Saturday, in what it called a "stern warning" to the self-ruled island's government following a meeting between its president and the US House speaker.

Dubbed "United Sharp Sword", the three-day operation will run until Monday, the People's Liberation Army's (PLA) Eastern Theatre Command said in a statement.

Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen Tsai immediately denounced the drills, pledging to work with "the US and other like-minded countries" in the face of "continued authoritarian expansionism".

They can do great performance for drills but i don't think in actual battle. Im not saying all of them but most of them are not brave enough to die and to fight. All knowledge and skills will be nothing in the time of fear unlike those people have the guts by experience. They know how to manage critical situation and it will be a big advantage. They've face death many times and survived in the end of the day casualties are given and most of all experienced soldiers will get more motivated to fight when they lost a comrades in their side.
