Big news after a months-long battle.
The U.S. Court of Federal Claims ruled against Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin in the company’s lawsuit versus NASA over the lunar lander contract awarded to Elon Musk’s SpaceX earlier this year.
Federal Judge Richard Hertling sided with the defense in his ruling, completing a long battle.
Blue Origin sued NASA in August.
NASA said in a statement that work with SpaceX will resume “as soon as possible” now that the ruling has been issued.

Great job Ellie. You do an excellent job covering a subject. Ignore the naysayers who criticize your delivery. It is your personal style that that makes your channel so enjoyable. You keep us informed at the same time making me wonder and look forward to your next presentation. Your editing style is who you are. Don’t change! To Thine own self be true!

Jeff is good at delivering a package same day. Musk is good at delivering orbital rockets. They should focus on their strengths and stay in their lanes.

Hopefully Jeff, his minions at Amazon and their satellite cronies will back off their same childish tantrum approach to slowing down StarLink.
BUILD B4 ENGINES, BUILD SOMETHING THAT CAN GET TO ORBET, BUILD YOUR OWN SATELLITES, DO ANYTHING PRODUCTIVE, OR SHUT UP AND GO AWAY JEFF!!!!

Bezos can make money, Musk can make history.

The HLS needs to be 100 percent reliable and the first system of its type needs to be proven and future proof.

The whole point of going back to the moon is having a sustained presence there which means lots of cargo. The National Teams concept is not much different from the Apollo Luner Landers.

Very straightforward information, thank you. All these other channels are making 20-30 min videos just to report one or two lines of new information on Elon et al.

Blue Origin's lawyers are just as important to the company as their CGI team.

Space is big. There's room for anyone who can actually build spaceships. Get with it, Jeff!

Great reporting, Ellie.

This isn't a done deal yet. Bezos isn't the problem, Congress is. I would say that there is a better than 50-50 chance that the "Human Landing System" program will be cancelled eventually.

I mean I think it was obvious Blue Origin was gonna lose. 🤣 Like what was Jeff thinking!?!? Does he HONESTLY think he can compete with SpaceX?? You're talking about a company that's been around since the early 2000s that has done more for space flight in general than anyone, really. Blue Origin has done jack sh!t in comparison to SpaceX. What have they done?? SpaceX is WAAAYY more established.

Secret legal system - even for corporations - what are they hiding?

I am not 100% sure, but I think that the picture in Elon's meme is of Karl Urban in the movie Dredd from 2012, not of Sly.

4:00 I hate to nitpick but it's from the 2012 movie "Dredd". Definitely worth a watch, it's much better than the 1995 version :) Awesome video though!

Hello Ellie. There is so much to do in space, on moon, on Mars, in artificial space... we will need Blue Origin anyway.

I for one am glad that the court disallowed the Blue Origin suit against NASA. The way in which "big aerospace" (Blue Origin was working with Lockheed Martin, amongst others, when it proposed its lunar landing bid) uses politics (a congressional representative in Washington State) to gum up the process underscored the problems that collusion between politicians and big business have hampered US interests for decades, particularly (but not exclusively) in the aerospace sector.

Thanks for this video update.
