Imagine what the results would be if you'd set these up straight instead of angled. And had that Big Rail not been bent to one side slightly it would have probably supported a lot more before failing. But squashing them when they are already leaning isjust setting them up. I am inpressed that even when compromised to fail that rail held a lot of weight. But last I heard trains are heavy!

One day I was removing a axle bearing from an old Ford axle. The splitter blocks blew apart. Sent shrapnel all over the shop. I'm glad I was the only one in the shop that day. The only thing that saved me was the scatter shield I built. Many years after that incident i still find pieces of those block sticking out of the drywall!
