I was in a friends skiff with a 50 horse engine down in barnegat light and we got smoked by a viking sport Fisher. I really thought we were going down lol we had to empty out so much water

When I boat and I see or go by a boat much smaller then me I usually throttle down when I go by them.

My worst experience was being waked by the FDNY entering Great Kills Harbor. I’m sure they were heading to a call but damn, they almost created another emergency.

I really like the footage but I have to say I didn’t see anyone get cut off the smaller boat got passed safely and he reacted to it properly by jumping into the wake center of the faster vessel,

Dude try fishing anywhere in a 16ft starcraft. People don't care. The rules don't apply. I'm bigger you'll move isn't the way it is. I keep old spark plugs to throw at boats that do dumbass shit. I used to throw sinkers but with the price of lead 😂. I'm usually 20 or so miles out too

Waking a smaller boat is never acceptable. The smaller boat took the wake wave beam-side and had to adjust course. The inlet is too narrow for that.
