Hello and welcome back to Football Daily where today we are running through 10 clubs with consistently overrated transfer business.

From smaller sides like Wolves and Southampton, to bigger clubs like Atletico Madrid and Sevilla, with Monchi failing to rip up trees on his return at the later, today we ask which club’s transfer business deserves MORE scrutiny.

Of course we couldn’t make a rundown of this nature without including PSG whose capture of Donnarumma, Sergio Ramos, Wijnaldum and Lionel Messi seriously underwhelmed or Chelsea, with Romelu Lukaku’s failed move to Stamford Bridge and the exit of some talented youngsters, colouring the final few years of Marina Granovskaia’s reign there.

Which clubs did we miss out and which entries did you disagree with? Let us know in the comments! And if you enjoyed the video be sure to leave it a like and subscribe to Football Daily for more informative and entertaining daily content!

As someone who is a Manchester United supporter I am absolutely shocked to not see us on this list or even Barcelona. I guess you have to do some business to do bad business 😂

Nobody 'overrates' Man Utd's transfer business. We all know it's been poor hence they're not on this list.

Reason why Atleti aren’t buying anyone is due to their strict budget and the inability to sell morata or other players for funds

Inter’s inclusion in this list shows how little Serie A is respected by this channel - our transfer business over the last 10 years has DRAMATICALLY improved since Suning bought the club from Erick Thohir, reshaping the entirety of the club and ending the Juventus stranglehold on the scudetto. In their prior entry, Southampton, the situation Zhang and co found themselves in is exactly the same - a change in Chinese capital outflow plus, Covid crippled the teams finances even further. To keep the team competitive, we needed a liquidity injection that will be more than covered in the coming years with the return of lost revenue streams during that turbulent time. It’s also worthy to point out, we sold TWO players for enormous sums of money, recruited spectacularly to maintain the title of the best team in Italy, sorry Milan fans - credit to your win, but Lady Luck really shined its light on you, not underserved either mind you, and we kept the remainder of our stars that won us that 19th scudetto.
Lukaku coming back is a stroke of genius - getting back an “overpriced” asset for pennie’s on the dollar that Chelsea paid for, even in a similar light, Juventus did the same thing with Pogba. English clubs just got taught a beautiful lesson in those two transfers that they of course will never learn from. Money doesn’t always dictate where the play goes and wants to perform - both are now home where they are respected and loved.
Man Cities transfer strategy is above all the most overrated; why? No UCL trophy in their cabinet after the 1.4 Billion spent on players.
All talk, no action - just like your national team.

Apparently Chelsea's transfer business is overated now. It was only about a year ago a couple of presenters on this channel who will remain nameless was praising marina granovskaia. Luckily was saved by deep pockets from the owner and frankly their amazing academy. Who evers in charge of the youths should honestly get a raise coz with Roman gone they can't keep making big money mistakes

Kinda shocked Manchester United did not make the list.

10. It's no secret Wolves are blunt in attack but still have a solid team.
9. Sevilla are well known for not having a decent striker since Negredo.
8. Southampton sold their best players and replaced them with dross. If weren't for their current manager they would be relegated by now.
7. Inter are in financial crisis for now.
6. Leicester are hit and miss in the window.
5. Well last season Stuttgart signed some poor players.
4. Since Falcao left, bar Suarez Atletico Madrid always fails with attacking players due to the play style clashing with club.
3. Brighton are hit and miss in the windows.
2. PSG always fails in the Champions league.
1. Bar Costa, Chelsea 9/10 fails in getting a good striker. Don't get me started on Drinkwater, Bakayoko and Kepa. Still don't understand why they let Abraham and Tomori leave the club.

Samuel Lino is not a central midfielder and he is from Gil Vicente, not just Portugal. Do your research

How are Juventus not on here?

You have a team who used to be perennial Serie A champions who have completely fallen from grace over the last two years. They've potentially committed a financial crime in the transfer swap of Arthur and Pjanic - which italian authorities investigated for financial fraud. They've had absolute stinker signings like Moise Kean, Denis Zakaria, Aaron Ramsey, Nicolo Rovella, and Morata on a $22 million loan fee. Vlahovic was a great signing but still cost almost 90m.

You can't tell me that isn't worse than Inter Milan, or Stuttgart.

No Aston villa? They've spent something like 400 mil since joining the prem and are a bottom half team

The thing is no one rates these teams business, except for Leicester but then again I reckon theyve got more hits than misses

at least southampton have had a sharp eye for youngsters. broja was a smart loan, signing livramento was great business even with the buyback clause, and bazunu and bella-kotchap have lots of promise

Brighton shouldn't be on this list, they fleeced 50 mil + from us for bang avg Ben White.
They'll also probably sell Cucurella to City for big money.
