Madalyn Murray O'Hair was a force to be reckoned with. An unashamed atheist, she went all the way to the Supreme Court to keep prayer out of schools and was a firm believer in the separation of church and state. But behind the fighter for non-religious freedom was a woman that no one liked. She was rude, crude and bullied just about everyone she knew. She very anti Christian and when she moved to Texas, her antics only got worse and she was dubbed the most hated woman in america. But she picked the wrong person to bully after she wrote a scathing article about David Waters, an ex-con that previously went to jail for beating up his own mother.

Only forced prayer was removed, get it right. She won every debate she was in.

“She was crude, vulgar, and abrasive and every sentence was punctuated with a swear…” That’s the kind of woman I’m looking for. 🥰

If students in school want to pray they can. Teachers can not lead them in prayer. Because we have religious freedom.

As a lifetime Catholic I prayed in public schools We had Bible readings. Did not hurt my faith one bit. If anything made me a better Catholic

The Supreme Court ruled that mandatory religious ceremonies of any kind are unconstitutional, which they are. People can still pray to any nonexistent deities they wish.

We had to edit and re-upload the video due to a copyright claim.

The son didn’t want to file but was encouraged by a caretaker to do so.

Her son has been a devoted and sincere Christian for decades. He unfolds the truth about his mother. She was a cold, vulgae and very difficult wiman. He continues crusade with an effective intelligent and detailed dismantling of this wimans evil plans not just for herself but for the nation.

Madeline is not the most hated woman in America. Somebody said that and just people just started taking it as a fact. I think she was wonderful

I’m just discovering this lady. I watched an old interview of hers. It was very interesting to hear her grievances. But I couldn’t help but think that her eventual death would be brutal simply because of how she showed so much anger and rage in her lifetime. Life has a way of giving back what you have given out. This is a very tragic story. So sorry that her family also was murdered.

Her constitutionality is spot on. The government can't promote one religion over another or lack of religion. I play bass in church every Sunday (I'm a guitar player) but believe in the right to choose and or find your own way. God always.

Came here after learning about Madalyn from the "Atheist 'Denominations' Explained" video from Useful Charts YouTube channel.

She was right …public school, should NOT be fostering religion in any way, except in the teaching of historical facts

She didn't take prayer out of school, your click bait title is fundamentally misleading and dishonest.

people can still pray in school. Chrisitans get upset when no one is *forced* to pray with them, which is rather pitiful. It is fun to see christians show their true colors here, so much for that good ol' Christian love.
