08 Death is Absolutely Safe

This video discusses how our death is perfectly safe. The background music in this video is Ram Dass chanting a mantra with some friends. The brown pages in the book Be Here Now were originally published in a large format, 11 inch square manuscript called from Bindu to Ojas. We got our autographed copy in late 1970. It came in a was called The Box Set with other pamphlets and an album. On that album he described the meaning of different mantras, and then chanted them with some friends. This was my favorite one. I chanted it frequently back in the day. I had not heard it in four decades when 2 years ago my friend Jon Seskevich (Vasu) told me about a website he had recently created. On that site he told the whole story of the creation of The Box Set. He found that album and was able to put the audio tracks on his website, available for anyone to listen to. I took one stanza from this track and just repeated it over and over as background music in this clip.

Only comfort I have is believing I no longer will suffer....from being a women, being a wife and mother my family discarded . My husband left one day...canceled phone, closed bank accounts, turned off electric helped with no money for three years until he divorced me. Then terror began when I got half of his 401k. So seeing this gives me some hope. I'll be free from the terror of living in this town and the USA.

I have no food or water. I have two gallons of water left. I'm stranded in the country unable to walk from a bone spur. Terrible divorce, harassed by local group of druggies . They know I'm alone . I've been so afraid of dying and suffering . It is our Ego . I've thought about this deeply . I don't have long .

Go with the closed captioning and mute the sound. This recording is horrible. The narrator sounds like he's speaking from the bottom of a tin can and the "background" music or chanting masks his voice. Ugh!
