I did fall behind and had to power read to catch up at times but I’m so excited to be on schedule to finish the first time reading through the Bible! I’m so thankful God helped me to not give up and did it. Plan to do it next year too

When we choose God’s ways, He will carry us through everything, even the valley of the shadow of death.

The writer expresses joy to hear about others' children & his children walking in the truth. I can relate to this joy when my children are walking in the truth & can imagine God's joy when we are.

Also, John 1:6 tells us that love is walking in obedience to God's commands & 3 John 1:11 tells us not to imitate evil, but good.

There’s a circular completeness in 2 Jn 6: love is walking in his commands, and His command is to love one another. We see this elsewhere with John: Jn 13:34-35, 1 Jn 3:18. Love isn’t a suggestion or an emotion, not “word or speech, but deed and truth.”
