These are not the episodes that I would have chosen but as TNG was full of fantastic stories narrowing the selection to just five would be a real challenge. I just bought BluRay Boxed sets of ST-TNG and ST-DSN. I am going to teach my son to love them as well, when the time comes.
I refuse to soil my memories of the best SciFi series with the shameless Marxist propaganda peddled under the banner of ST these days.
Star Trek ended with Enterprise.
