After 7 years, my Transcend looks like new.

We are looking at the island mist transcend but trex isn’t taking orders until June in our neck of the woods. I hear this holds up really well. How does the timbertech legacy collection( ashwood) hold up in comparison to transcend? 5 kids and 3 dogs. Timbertech is all in stock so wondering if it would be worth the wait for the trex or if legacy would hold up the same?

Is Transcend lineup has a better resistance to slipping than Select or Enhance lineup? A magazine rated Transcend better in that regard.

Q1. I've seen some reviews that mention the Trex boards getting very hot in the summer and being dangerous for dogs. Do you have any customer feedback on that? Q2. How do I figure out how many boards I need? I want to estimate the cost of just the boards. Thank you!

My spouse and I are hiring a contractor to do our Trex deck.  He gave us options of the Trex select or upgrading to the transcend line- If I am correct (sorry new deck and new home owner) those are considered the midgrade and higher grade options?  We live in the Midwest- is there any pro/con to having either of these for temperature/weather  related or long term maintenance and upkeep? TIA

Do you find there to be much of a difference between their lines on scratch resistance? Some prior videos mentioned the transcend line on of the best boards for scratch resistance but what does your experience show as the difference between the other two lines?

I wish I would have found your videos sooner. I designed a 500sqft deck with island mist double picture framed with clamshell. The materials arrived today and I didn’t realize that the enhance line had changed with the scalloped boards. I’m debating swapping out the clamshell, however it’s only the border... any thoughts on the color scheme and durability of the enhance line?

I have this shit. I hate it. It sucks. It develops mold over the winter. I live in Canada I am not friggen washing the damn deck o. The winter. They come loose and move. I friggen hate it did I mention that. It stains, it wears horribly. Don’t ever want this crap ever. Use wood PWF or redwood. Don’t go cheap friggen crap like this
