What is a more durable product when it comes to starches, and fading Trex Select in Pebble grey or Trex Enhance in Foggy Wharf?

So for costs purposes I am purchasing the Saddle Enhance for both my deck and my dock. So the costs for 97 boards at 16' or 1500' would double if I went to the next upgrade?

Thanks for this. Doing our front porch soon and our local Lowe's clued me into the new Trex stuff. Our ten year old deck still looks good, though the "redwood" has faded slightly (it's on the south side of the house) to a "terra cotta" color, but we're much better off than the old rotten wood deck that came with our house. The porch is on the north side, so I expect the color to last long enough to see me through to the Old Folks Home. ;)

Trex select saddle changed the grain pattern from stuff I already got last year. They also grooved the bottom where mine is solid. Do you know if I can still get the "old" style? I need a few more boards and I want to match what I have.

One HUGE issue with the TREX enhance. On 11/29/18, trex put out a notice that says DO NOT use a plug based fastener system with TREX enhance. To build the outer perimeter, you will need to use composite screws, no plugs. Be very careful, DO NOT rely on your drill's clutch, the same clutch setting will stop a screw at the top of the deck or take it right throw the deck board depending on how hard the wood is. Only rely on the clutch when installing the hidden fasteners. ALSO, if you are laying TREX diagonally, the joists need to be spaced 12 inches on center.

Solid boards of Enhance are still in production for a few more months. then no more, all boards will be Scalloped bottom as per Trex Corporate Offices
