Its so nice to see Im not the only parent feeling an innate sense of guilt!! May God open ours eyes to what is really important in life...nothing is guaranteed and our children day by day are growing towards a life of their own...may we cherish every moment, regardless of our own issues, emotions and stresses 🙏

We are there now, kids grown up.. I know that feeling.. It was my reality.. Sad moments when they grow up and move on.. Now just myself and husband.. And how we miss the noise and laughter.. ❤️

That's what I'm experiencing now, even the grandchildren have grown up now, the house is empty. I often think of those moments and wish them back. Thanks for sharing.

I have 3 boys, they are 5, 4 and 2. The chaos is immense but we're loving it after listening to this. It hit home❤️❤️❤️❤️

Thank you for this ....our babies are everything to us . I ran to my son and just hugged him tight and told him how much I love him.

What a powerful poem, a reminder to be here now and take in the moments, and create the moments with our children, while keeping a vision for the hereafter

let's embrace the chaos while they're still here. and let's be better children to our parents while they're still here 😢

Well this is just a reality check. The little things we took for granted instead of spending time with our parents. We expect everything from our parents because of our selfish reasons. But we can't take time out to remind them of how much they are appreciated and loved. I miss my parents so much.

By the time your child is 12, you will have spent 75% of the total time you will ever have with her/him in your lifetime... By 18 it's 92%... Scary and heartbreaking...
