I don't think the cake or lens in pool clips were bullshit at all. I honestly believe they are part of a trending genre of designed content for views. Staged "bloopers" include editing and multiple takes to catch the mishap. It just clips made to hopefully go viral.

Losers faking things and passing it off as real are the are neither funny or interesting but they laugh at their own jokes and talk to the camera as if everyone but them is an idiot and will think that their videos are real

Good indicator that people are fake is if they have a ton of videos of stuff / events happening that are super unlikely to happen normally to of course they have daily occurrences because of some kind of supernatural powers or their narcissistic personality makes it so they can't keep their mouths shut and have to be the center of attention and will lie and be disingenuous if that's what it takes
