My shelter ball python fell asleep on me the other day and started snoring I thought she is about to die. After I realized she's sleeping I think it was really bonding experience <3

I've always been petrified of snakes, until last week when I was in a pet shop and the kind lady let me hold her 20yr old ball python.
It was so affectionate, I'm won over.

I was in the hospital for 8 days and when I came home to mine he came straight to the door and tried to push his way out until I got him 🥺 he went straight to his favorite chill spot and snuggled his face as far into my cheek as he could. It just felt really nice knowing he missed me as much as I missed him 🖤

Omggg my boy is so friendly and curious. He has not balled up in such a long time because he’s just that chill. Now if he would stop rearranging his enclosure all night that would be great lol.

i really hope that’s not her permanent enclosure. she needs to be able to stretch to her full length at least along two sides of the tank, she needs more than one hide, she needs enrichment items, and a water bowl that won’t tip over.

Sounds about right...Balls are very docile and sometimes even outgoing snakes..even small children can handle them without worry.

That enclosure is WAY to small for a ball python that size my 2 year old ball python has an enclosure twice the size you need to get her a bigger cage and way more decor
