The 2 singers, Roland and Kurt, really compliment each others voices. Amazing voices and band.

Their first hit, from 1981, and the first song I remember hearing by them. My favorite Tears for Fears song in the eighties was "Change, " also from 1981.

Saw them in concert just last night and their vocals are still so good after 40 years!

Tears For Fears are for me the standout talent of the 80's. Both Curt and Roland are fantastic vocalists. The songwriting skills, in particular Roland's, are fantastic.

I'm a longtime TFF fan, and it was a shock when I realized how so much of their music was about psychology! For example, "Shout" is about primal scream therapy and the whole album The Hurting is about childhood trauma. Still, I do find so much of it you can dance to! In this, the bass and synth are so strong! Amazing music!

Just a reminder there are two vocalist in TFF. MY absolute favorite angst singer from the 80's is Curt Smith, he's also fantastic in the TV show Psych...love him.

I just saw them in concert exactly 2 weeks ago in Franklin, TN, and they were FANTASTIC!!! Imagine experiencing 7500 people singing "Shout" in unison during the encore. And yes, "Pale shelter" was included in their set.

I have this album, 'The Hurting' on vinyl. Very good album. 'Pale Shelter' is my second jam after 'Mad World' on this album.

I am 55 and you all just keep digging up memories from my life. From the 70's to now. I have to say, the last 15-20 years of music has been disappointing. Thanks to the two of you for unearthing amazing music and some great times. You both are amazing, and you both get it! Music is so transcending and full of meaning from the past.
