Noone will ever see this but I worked at Taco Bell. A lady came in talking about how people don't make Tostadas like they used to back in the 1990s. I asked her to describe the old way of making it to me and made her one. I was the GM of a slow store where we only kept one manager and two staff. So I rang her up for a close approximation and made the thing for her. She said it was the best one she had in 30 years and came back a few more times. I got transferred 20 minutes away and she found out I had moved and asked where they send me and came found me to get me to make her one. It low key felt kind of good to have a fanatical customer that was willing to track me down because only I was good enough to listen to her for 2 or 3 minutes and make it for her.

I was a delivery specialist for Jimmy Johns from 2014 until 2021. I have a long list of awkward/scary/hilarious stories. One of which I remember profoundly. I was making a delivery to a house. I pull out onto the street in front of our store and there was a vehicle in front of me. The vehicle was proceeding in the direction I was going and I really thought nothing of it. A few turns later and after about 2 miles, I was still behind this car trying to get to my destination. Eventually, we got to the destination and I was STILL behind this car. It pulls into the driveway where my delivery was and the guy gets out of his car with a bat. I quickly jump out of the car, hands up in the air, and begin to explain to him that I have a delivery here. He says his roommates name I said it was the dude I was delivering to. He laughed, put the bat away, pulls out a twenty and hands it to me. The guy I was delivering to thought it was hilarious as the bat guy and I were standing on the porch cackling away. The guy I was delivering to also gave me a twenty. 40 bucks was made that night and 3 people will always remember that story.

I worked at a Rite Aid drugstore back in the late 1990s in a small-ish town in Utah while I was in college. One Friday night, I'm working the register and this VERY obvious woman of the night and two guys who were grinning ear to ear come up to my register with an open L'Eggs pantyhose package and I'm thinking to myself "She probably just wanted to verify the color." I scan it through, she pays, and as I go to bag it up, she tells me "Oh you can throw those away. I'm wearing the new ones." (Yeah, she must have changed them in the restroom. That's classy.) I do so. The three of them leave as I'm drenching my hands in sanitizer before I touch anything else. The doors close and a guy a couple people further back in line chuckles and says what we were all thinking: "Lookin' for a good time...?" I proceed to wipe the sanitizer bottle itself down with sanitizer and everyone starts laughing even harder, including my boss. I turn to him "I want a raise."

the “deli style roll” is available as a footlong right? im used to roll meaning a small bun.

i ask because a family member has a soy allergy and the ingredients listed says it has the least amount of soybean oil in it compared to the rest.

her mother also has dietary restrictions that have impacted her thoughts about food so the kid only really gets snack sized “meals” if u can call peanut butter toast a meal

if i ever get the chance to feed the kid i intend on stuffing their face and subway is a good way to build confidence aswel ‘cause they can tell a stranger what to do and the stranger will do it infront of them
