3 steps on how to zone out
Step 1. Stare in a random direction
Step 2. Ignore your surroundings
Step 3. Think of something random for so long you forgot everything around you existed.

As a guy I can't read hints. Anything short of "when are you going to ask me out" goes right over my head. That or literally no one likes me.

"Stop trying to throw hands with the sun. You're not gonna win."

Why was my first thought "Not with that attitude"

The "can't tell if a guy is into me" thing is hilarious because most guys can't tell when a woman is into them either

Patrice O’Neal explained men perfectly:
“Men want to be alone, but we don’t want to be by ourselves.”

"He was friends with a guy for years and didn't know how old he is"
1. Does knowing how old he is make a difference to the friendship?
2. I've needed to do math to remember how old *_I_* am, ever since I stopped having candles the shape of numbers.

"Why do men like to torment eachother and laugh about it."
Because that how we've always been treated.

As a man, I don't even know the answer to some of these. We just do the things we do.

If a guy seems interested, then suddenly stops. It may just be that he thought you weren't interested and moved on. Most guys just shrug these things off.

No guy wants to be that obsessive creep all girls steer away from, and would rather stay friends over ruining a good friendship.

I've definitely been down this block a few times, looking back I definitely missed some obvious hints because my mindset was in a "forget about it, move on, its not worth the risk" mindset regardless of if I was interested in the past.

Women: "if I was a worm would you still love me"
Men: "if all of our family members were wolves, would I be able to beat them?"

"That guys can go from fighting and beating each other up to being friends"
Yes because we learn how strong the other guy is and gain respect for and from him.

I remember during lunches in school, there was a girl in my friend group, and since she wasn’t exactly in on “man talk” she would always leave the table laughing her head off. Then she moved to Kentucky and none of us have seen her since

When guys stare off into space, we come up with the most “what if” scenarios, the most common and likely example being “If 100 fifth graders wanted to fight me to the death, can I take all of them?” We will also get so much into detail of how we expect the scenario will go

Edit: We also stare off into space for no reason, for example when we are getting up first thing in the morning, I know some guys and me especially who just stare off into space for at least 15-20 seconds before doing something. I like to call it “Loading in” lol

I don't AVOID using skin products because it's "feminine". I just don't go outta my way to use them because it's inconvenient to do more than basic showering and teeth brushing 😂

I can answer the “give each other crap and attitude.” At least for my own group, if we are able to do that to each other and not take it seriously, that means we’re super close. Now there are times when someone takes it too far and we can be like “hey.. too far man” and they’ll apologize and never bring up that specific thing again.

This same behavior will not be accepted from people we barely know or are neutral with.

The reason some of us men don't make the first move is out of pure fear of being accused of something. I lack confidence in myself and have heard too many horror stories (like a girl coming on to a guy physically {taking his shirt off and putting her hands in other places kind of thing. he was kind enough to spare those details} and then the next morning said she didn't give him consent and that it was rape and following him around making a scene. Basically blackmailing him but he extricated himself from that relationship unharmed and reputation intact thank god.) I think that paints enough of a picture.

When I say that I was thinking about nothing, I really was thinking about something. It was just so inane and stupid that it doesn't bear repeating or so forgettable that it leaves the mind as soon as it comes

Re: Story 24:
It's an honor instinct. Someone giving us something is a debt owed. And owing someone else something is an apprehensive thought. And if we owe someone something... that typically makes us a junior in some relation. Status is something that matters, even if we aren't aware of it.

To answer why we don't talk to females about our problems. We can talk to guys about breaks, or about the worst pains we have ever felt but we will never talk to women about them unless we are extremely close to you. Like mothers or SO of 10+ years. We all hear the horror stories or been through the time where we tell a girl friend or SO about our insecurities, our doubts and hang-ups just to have it thrown in our face during an argument or have it spread to the 4 corners of the world. All it takes is 1 time and a man will close up like fort Knox and will never open up again. If your SO is like that, he might have gotten burned, best thing you can do is just be patient with him. You can talk with him or ask questions but don't force it, it will just make it worse

In my experience (being a guy and all) men do like hugs and cuddling, we just don't like asking for them because it makes us emotionally vulnerable.
