I genuinely liked Saturn. I thought they made a very nice car and I’m sorry so many lost their jobs. But what can you do? You can’t keep a company going that makes less in profit than it does in producing the product. It’s a nice car that apparently not many people wanted to buy.

My 2005 Saturn Vue just passed 360, 000 miles with no major repairs. Engine and transmission are both original. Wish I could buy another one!

My dad had a 1995 Saturn sl2 and he loved that car, me and him drove to Yellowstone in it and back with 0 problems. He worked at Saturn and loved it there he was really sad when it got shut down. He sold it like 3-4 years ago at 310, 000 miles and it was still going strong.

Wow GM, you made a huge mistake getting rid of Saturn. It was a good company with lots of interesting and amazing cars, and you got rid of them. You should bring Saturn back.

I was a sales person for Saturn from 2001 to 2008 it was truly a different kind of company a different kind of car like the slogan said. I enjoy working there and got to see the product progress from the S-series to the Saturn Sky. I still talk fondly about them today. I think they would have been a great company for GM to show off the future of electric vehicles.

In retrospect, Saturn was really just a stop-gap measure by GM--it was their most Japanese-like car line until they figured out how to make their other cars follow suit. They still haven't, of course.
