Females do NOT weigh 70 lbs. Far more in the 40-50lb range. My biggest female was 24 inches tall, a rangy girl, and only briefly touched on 50lbs.

We have two of the dogs, the male who is a big boy and useless, just a big friendly boy who loves nothing more than watch the world go by, the female on the other hand is a excellent guard and highly protective

My husband and i bred American Groenendaels in 60s to 80s and did not have problems listed here. Then new Groenendaels from Europe that had longer hair and larger. Some America Breeders still have lighter herding type Groenendaels. Tails were not curled like ones in this video.
