That's why I'm glad I don't live in a big city or use my EBT in gas station and get robbed, , and using your EBT may be getting stolen online when you use your EBT online is something I'll never ever do.

The beginning of November I had almost $144 used on my card I called immediately canceled it and put in for a new one I've had a form the same one 3 times and sent it on the site still haven't heard back

For it to be that much skimmed it would have to be a store that takes it, in on that. I think you need to distinguish between how SNAP is not the same exactly as EBT. They may use the same card, but there are different button choices for either food only, or EBT which is usually only for people with children, or pregnant. The part that is like a stipend for other needed items besides food, like diapers, clothes, laundry soap, etc. Sometimes that is on the SNAP card, but not unless people are having a baby and or have children that they are the legal guardian of. Either way if you lose your card call and tell them and freeze the account and get a new card with a new assigned number. Go to the office if you need the replacement with whats left from your last receipt which is why you're supposed to save every receipt from purchases made on your EBT card.

Back in October, I didn’t get the 1 dollar raise I got a 3 dollar deduction because of my upcoming SSI COLA. I said great just the other day I received another letter saying that I will have another deduction due to the COLA all totaled they’re taking 14 dollars off my food stamps for a 24 dollar COLA raise . This has never happened before. Yeah they always would take this amount for COLA but never twice. I haven’t ever had an issue with common people stealing from my card it’s always been the DFCS people

Yeah that cola was a big joke. They gave me the cola and took that much money back in my SNAP benefits. How does that help anybody?
