One of the greatest soundtracks ever, too.

Wes's perfect movie. All the others bend a little under their own weight. This one was so perfect.

I still love this movie after all these years. Definitely in my top 5. Made me a Wes Anderson fan for life. Oh and the soundtrack is perfection.

That Wes Anderson isn't universally beloved by everyone is tragic.
This is just one of many amazing and unique movies made by Wes.
"Hotel Grand Budapest" puts me into a trance every time i watch it.
"French Dispatch" was INCREDIBLE.
The Roald Dahl shorts on Netflix are worth paying for Netflix to see.
"Asteroid City", "Moonrise Kingdom"... Just goes on and on.

I stopped watching the Oscars after Murray didn’t win for this performance.

I got to watch Rushmore screened on its 25th anniversary at the school it was shot in (St. John the Divine Houston). To this day one of my favorite theater moments.

I have also spoken to several of the ministers at St John the Divine, who all (independently) made the same joke about sharing a pulpit with Bill Murray

This is my favorite Wes Anderson movie by far. It’s really an incredible movie.
Most people, even Wes Anderson fans don’t get this movie.

I remember the trailer and promotional stills well before Rushmore came out and I was so excited to finally see it. It exceeded my expectations. I saw it three times at the theater. Good times. Seen every Wes Anderson film since(on the big screen). I actually saw him at a cafe once but so in awe I walked by and merely glanced his way…lol.
