I've noticed that every cat I've had likes hair ties & I've literally taught every cat I've had how to fetch with a hair tie. I shoot the hair tie across the room after I see that my cat has their eye locked on it & is ready to play with it. This makes it easier for the cat to chase after it & also bring it back. Idk why it has always worked with every cat I've ever had but it does

This might be cool to try and teach our girl kitten she's already quite a bit smarter than the two boys but she also really loves to carry toys around in her mouth, especially soft toys and objects. I have a feel one of the boys, a Persian might not get it. I'm sure he's part frog, it's the eyes, I try to engage him and all I get is these yellow frog eyes looking at me, less like I'm crazy more like he can't work out if he is. So cute

Thanks for the tips. When my aunt gave me 3 kittens 9 years ago, I didn't know how to play with all 3 of them at once and they would get kinda possessive. Sadly 2 of them have died over the years but my neighbor has kittens he wants to get rid of. I'm hoping if things go well, I can take in 2 of them and try to be more careful with them than I was with my past kittens. I read on Google that 1 way to play with multiple cats is to train them to fetch. One of my cats from 9 years ago is still alive and with me so I'm not sure how I'm going to train her too.
