Regarding the Golota vs. Tyson fight: Golota suffered a concussion, a skull fracture (left zygomatic arch), a herniated cervical disc, and he had a mild brain hemorrhage. Had he done as his trainers urged him, there's a strong chance he would have been killed or permanently disabled. The job of a corner above all is to protect their fighter. They failed miserably at that, and Golota kept them from making a fatal mistake.
