Geckos are truly adorable. But unless I missed them, I didn’t see any Mourning Geckos. I have three little girls and am always delighted when they venture from their hiding places. I love listening to their middle of the night and early morning chirps. I’m hoping they will eventually trust me enough to come out and lick food from my fingers. They are so adorable when they are stalking fruit flies! Love these little girls!

I once came home from work to find a Tokay gecko on top of my clothes airing rack, but it quickly disappeared among my clothes - I had no idea how it got in, but I left the door open for it to escape.

It was still a youngster, no more that the length from my elbow to fingertips (they grow at least twice as big) but I didn't approach it: I know how hard those little green/grey geckos bite despite being not much bigger than my fingers... I have lots of the little ones living in my house, and they also make the same sound, TO-KAY, as their big cousins. I wonder if all geckos make the same sound?
