I used to work at PetSmart and these little guys were my favorite. They are so soft! We had 1 that was taken back to isolation cuz its tail got stuck under a hut and had to fall off. So for 2 months I bonded with that little cutie (we called it Kirby).

If I didn't have 3 cats and 0 time to spare I would've adopted Kirby in a heartbeat ❤

My sibling used to have one, and I loved her very dearly. Of course, everyone who was in my family loved her. AJ sometimes just wanted to be left alone, and we figured that out when one day, we tried doing something with her (helping her shed as far as I recall), and she hissed at us, but every other time we showered her with love, she would look at me with a smile, and sometimes, we even covered everything except for her head in a blanket, and she would enjoy that. Of course, when I figured out she was on death’s door, I tried to spend as much time that had remained for her as possible, and we thought we could save her by feeding her with a syringe, but it was already too late, and everyone (including me) was devastated.

Some of these were African fat tailed geckos they have similar care and look similar but are a different species and they do have differences in care needs

I have 2 and they are really cool. But they are crepuscular and are only out for a short bit in the morning and night. They do like to poop in one spot though. So that's always a plus. And they can live up to 20 years.

I have a little leopard gecko and she’s the sweetest girl! She loves to sit on my chest and just lays there and when I have my blanket she goes under the blanket right next to me and almost like tucks herself under the edge of my shirt😭🫶

I had a leapord gecko that was just always angry. Whenever we gave hime a nice mist he would open his mouth and hiss. His daughter also hates everyone.
