And Boeing will just use the situation to get more funding ... regardless of ability to deliver

Spacex is basically doing everything better in the industry

Gods, imagine if Boeing was our only space contractor right now.

Dmitry Rogozin lied when he said the ISS doesn't fly over Russia. The ISS flies over Russia every day and has an orbital inclination of 57° because Russia.

$50-75m per seat!!! That must come down for space exploration and migration ... SpaceX, please keep up the pace ... Starship is needed!!!

Make a smaller stage 2, mount it on the actual stage 2. Lift it up to the iss and push it.
Simple 👍

I didn't see or hear of any other companies stepping up along side SpaceX. SpaceX should get all NASA contracts from here on.

And yet the FAA is been delaying their assessment of Environmental Review.

Thank goodness Elon is there to save the world. Didn't he already do that with the Model S Plaid.

You failed to mention Orbital's Cygnus that reboosted ISS right after that veiled threat from Roscosmos. It is technically launcher agnostic bit it normally launches on Antares that uses Russian engines. Putting it on a Falcon would probably be faster than adapting and testing a new Dragon variant with a much larger fuel tank and reduced cargo capacity. The tank probably wouldn't be that big of a deal but the software and testing for the Dragon to execute the reboost maneuver could take years as it did for Cygnus.

I do think the feature should be developed for Dragon anyway. That way there will be two full stacks capable of reboosting once Blue Origin finally delivers its engines and Cygnus moves to ULA's Vulcan. Cygnus previously launched on ULA Atlas V (also Russian engines) before Antares was ready so that would likely be the natural move until Orbital comes up with a successor for Antares.

The Dragon is not an ideal spacecraft to boost the station, as the Draco thrusters are mounted sideways and have limited delta V. Actually Cygnus would be better suited. Watch the latest video of the Angry Astronaut on this topic. But maybe SpaceX is really thinking of an upgraded version (with additional thrusters and an extra fuel tank in an upgraded/elongated trunk).

i don't think it would be that hard to put an engine and some fuel tanks in the cargo bay of the dragon capsule

I've caught on to Russian bringing down the Iss window for April maybe March 2022. Russian realignment all ready-made..really..caught it the 1st day of invasion...

You can hear two audio tracks on the intro.. The audio track from the old intro is just barely audible still.

Good, you have to try to save it. Its a product of science to the space even ever.

It isn't just the Starship ... it is also the proliferation of Starbases (six are already under construction - 2x Boca Chica, 2x Cape Canaveral, 2x Sea based) to handle Starships ... I predict within 10 years a dozen or more will be under construction around the world. Starbases are the airports of the space industry. (I hope one or more is built at Wallops Island, VA where I live)

Biggest problem is Russians control of ISS orbit. Need to safe all thrusters and do corrections manually.🤔✌️🇺🇸

Two sets of antennas, a diesel generator, and computer did you have a satellite ground station that you can toss out of the back of a C-130 and have up and running within an hour after landing.

Who needs Russia when we have Elon Musk.
