OH. MY. GOSH. WHAT HAPPENED?!? IT WORKED. I NEVER thought my hair could get THIS big! I’ve maybe used a diffuser ONCE and after watching this video of course I was doing it wrong. All this freaking time I’ve been letting it air dry, and it’s NEVER gotten this curly/volume before!!! So I tried this routine yesterday and completely ballsed it up by using too much product and not fully drying my hair before scrunching out the gel. Today? I AM SO HAPPY. My curls still need lots of work (lots and lots of work) to be all bouncy and beautiful like Amanda's, but holy moly, the difference is astounding. I deep conditioned, then used a curl creme on dripping wet hair, and then finger coiled immediately (while sat on the floor in the shower, so glam) before applying gel. For the first time ever I've got a good cast! Then I diffused, using Mel's tips, and when my hair was completely dry I used some coconut oil on my hands to scrunch out of the crunch. I actually have curls I'm proud of for the first time since I started wearing my hair naturally curly! Still a little frizz, but a complete transformation to previous stylings. The part where you use the dyson to first dry the roots but without it actually touching the hair is amazing! I have the same hairdryer and started doing that too... fantastic results! NO frizz at all! Best advice I’ve ever been given :)
