From a very young age, most people are complimented on their success. We often say to children, when they do something well, You are very clever.

Most of us grow up thinking that we need to succeed at whatever we do. The fact is, we are not defined by how we succeed but how we fail. When a child first starts walking, do they just get up one day and start walking or do they fall, and fall and fall again. That's right. They keep falling. Even when they get it right, they occasionally fall.

We have all experienced failure, failure is the foundation of success. I want you to think about something. Which of these people would you consider a failure? The person who has failed his driving test 10 times and still has not passed or the person who passes the first time, then has a few accidents.

None of them is failures. Because it is nothing but an opportunity to improve. If you have been trying to get your driving licence over the past year and your theory is coming to an end, that is not a failure!

Last year the petition to extend theory pass certificates was rejected by the government. That was not a failure. That was the building blocking for this year's campaign. The decision a few days ago by the government to reject the petition for the second time, that is not a failure. That is an opportunity to have the case heard in the House of Parliament. So what is failure?.......

To anyone feeling down right now, I’ve been there ! I failed twice and with the pandemic I honestly never thought it would happen. It was like beating a dead horse, BUT I kept on going and it payed off. Don’t let anyone make you give up, I had everyone left right and centre giving me the queue of “just give up” Don’t let them get to you !

When you don't pass a vehicle test 1st time it doesn't bother you, but it's after you don't pass the 2nd is when it becomes a real test of your character and will. Some people hang in there and stay mentally strong, but others lose their complete minds or just give up. Tougher now with all these events, which has increased violence and depression

True there is driving license with my name on it. I love that statement. Thou reality is it too frustrating with the unfairness of DVLA not to extend our theory licence. Anyway I believe God has the right time. Fox let's not give up. Cheers

Let me tell you something. I passed my practical test in June 2018, after the third attempt. It was great news. I had always wanted to a courier. I looked around and found a nice job. I got my van and life was great. I wasn't prepared for the pressure of delivering to twenty destinations in one night. It soon got to me and I got a speed ticket quickly followed by a red light camera.
I tried my best to get the DVLA to at least give me a fine and speed course but the judge didn't rule in my favour.
I lost my license. I have two children who have mental disabilities and doing the school run on public transport or walking to school is always a nightmare.
I was determined to get my licence back. Now. After covering about 150 miles each day for five days, I thought it would be easy to get my licence back. I believe I'm a good driver because I was never involved in any kind of accident so I thought I would just walk in drive for 40 minutes and go back home with my licence. I was wrong.
I kept failing and just got back my licence two months ago after twelve attempts. I got so much used to failing that when the examiner told me I had passed, I did not show any emotion.
My wife was so used to my failure that when I left the pass certificate on our bed to surprise her, she did this k it was my first one which I usually took out to remind me of the good times. I am 46 so I believe no one should ever consider giving up especially the younger learner drivers who think their world has ended after two failures.

The thumbnail is so accurate. I failed twice for silly things. I was going to quit driving but started just driving my own card with my dad beside me. I got so much confidence but I don't want to sit another test because I know test nerves are what make me fail and make me feel like trash

This video is so inspirational, thank you for your kind words. I've been taking driving lessons since 2019 and I've failed my driving test 3 times already. I had to redo my theory test because it expired just before my second driving test. I have been practising how to drive in my own car and I've got a new test booked, I'm praying I pass next time because my second theory is about to expire in September.

Failed my test today for the first time after 70 hrs. Feeling so devastated. I got serious fault because of the clutch control as I was approaching towards the junction from the round about and instead of going down to 1 gear I accidentally went back to 3rd gear and there was dual cartridge way right after the junction I just lost control over the car. And examiner had to say you have to restart your engine. I can’t believe how it all happened. I made 2 minor faults apart from that. This video is absolutely inspirational.
