Here is short understanding of how water wells work on a rural property. Most homes have a municipal water source provide by your city. But for those properties located outside the city limits, often you have to have your own secured water source. This Paso Robles ranch is about 20 minutes from town so having it's own water source is necessary. This 130 acre ranch actually has two water wells that pump up to storage tanks located at the top of the property. Then that water is gravity fed to different outputs.

Understanding water wells is pretty basic but every well is difference and it is extremely important to understand your well if you live on a rural property.

Great video and explantation of how they work bud !!!! 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾 I was totally unaware of how they work and thought they were much more complicated than this. However with regard to water pressure since you mentioned that the water is distributed within the home by “ gravity “ does that then mean that the water pressure say in like a shower or any faucet for that matter is not as strong as say city water ??

400 feet, seriously? My drone limit is 400 feet and that's getting up their. I guess i need to read up more. I've heard of 150ft, depending on where your home region is. 400 feet though, did not realize it was that deep, but now that I'm thinking about it, it goes to reason there would be even deeper areas than this
