i live here and literally everyone in maryland was freaking out, i feel so bad. i’m so happy the Baltimore Orioles owner paid money to get the bridge fixed, but rest in peace for the workers who didn’t make it.

Our sister lives just 10 minutes from the key bridge, she travels the key bridge to and from work everyday! We are praying for the families of those loved ones who died so tragically.😢😢😢

This incident is frighteningly similar to the Sunshine skyway bridge collapse, back in 1980 in Florida. Both were caused by cargo ships that crashed into bridges after an incident, causing a partial or complete collapse of the bridge. Both sadly had deaths associated with them.
