The BEST CAR TO DRIVE JAGUAR F TYPE R or TESLA Model3?

Last VLOG I drove the latest Tesla Model3 and today my own Jaguar F Type R. Which really is the best to to drive? Remember "Life's Too Short TO Drive Boring Cars". The Tesla has instant torque at almost any speed, while the F Type sounds amazing and is a fast ICE car. Please watch and I think it will convince you about my personal preference.

Please SUBSCRIBE and we will see you on the flip side.

Another great example of why the F-Type can plaster a smile on my face every single time I get to go for a ride! I feel very blessed I’ve been able to experience one of these cars firsthand. Their performance is something I’ll never forget in my life! And I’m proud to say I’ve raised my son to appreciate all that fine ICE cars have to offer. He also dreams to not drive a boring car when the day comes!
Keep on sharing these great sounds and lines with the masses!!
😁😁

Hey Mark. Man, another great video. I like your part on diversity. But I'd have to say though, the F-Type all day long. That is by no means a boring car. Anywhere from hearing the sound of the supercharger to interior and those good looking seats to the retractable rear wing. The F-Type is just one those cars you can look back at after parking and think, what a car. Like you say "life is to short to drive boring cars". Keep up the good content.

I'm in the market for a car right now. I live in Florida, don't drive too many miles as I work from home. An electric car would probably be perfect for my needs, and the instant torque would be something I enjoyed. But I'm looking for an F-Type. I want the sound, the pops and bangs. I want the cold starts. I want to park it up and look back and see one of the most beautiful designs on the road today. I want a car that's as fun to drive as is beautiful to look at. I want a car that stirs my soul and alerts all my senses, a car that I'm excited to sit in every time I open the door and get behind the wheel. No electric car will ever do that for me. Not a Tesla not even a Rimac. Well, maybe a Rimac. But I have zero interest in electric cars. I am not anti them, they have their place and I get why people buy them. Just don't force me to.

The sound of that massive V8 Jaguar power plant is a huge reason I love my F-Type. But the fact that not every driver has a F-Type is also part of the allure. Tesla, Mustang, Corvette, Porsche, Maserarti and even Bentley are brands tat aren't that uncommon in my neighborhood. I can count the number of F-Types near me on one hand. The sounds and the exclusivity are the main draw for me. My car just makes smile every second behind the wheel.

Hi Mark, as you know I seem to be the barer of contentious comments and as such I have to tell you that the ultimate driving pleasure is neither the Tesla nor the your Jag!
That pleasure belongs to my old 1963 Austin Mini Cooper S with the mighty 1071s unit!
In the end it all comes to the vehicle that gives you the biggest smile :-)

I just found your channel And love it. Thanks for doing it. I have always loved jag. My frist was a 84. Saran. Then a 98 xmk8. Convert. Then a 04 xk8 convert. Now a 14 f type. Love it. I have gotten the used. Or got on eBay. But loved them all. Had to give up my 04. Because of family issue. But I am back. Went a few years with out and have only owed my f type a year now. And in love. I love your what is bad about owning one. Rinkles. Gray haute. Arguments with our wife’s. It was great. I would love to hear why your wife hates it. Lol. But thanks I have enjoyed all of them. Keep them coming. Your are the best.

Couldn;t have put it better myself Mark, why not choices? I drove my F=Type upto London from Plymouth to put in long stay car parking whilst away on business in France for two weeks. I drove up early hours for an early flight, enjoying my car it returned on average 40 mpg over 228 miles. I was driving 40-50 on B roads but just loved it as I watched the sun rise too, opening up a little every now & then to wake the beast. It's what driving is for. But doing the same in the Tesla would be for different reasons and that reason would also satisfy, so yeah let's have the choice at least. Thanks.

Yes... every vehicle type has its place and why not have it all? I am completely with you.

Hi Mark. Nice rip in the ol Jag! Making me jealous. Haven’t been able to drive mine for a while. Farming. New Michelin boots on, and 0 miles on them yet. Soon I hope.
Cheers and great commentary!

PS. F type all the way.

Hi Mark.
I do love my F Type and my old cars...
I'm not yet ready for electric cars: do you think it will be a problem for me?
😢😢😢
The gearbox, the real driving, the engine, the sound...
No, now I don't want to buy this "new" cars.... At this time!
Have a nice week!

Forget the model 3- it's got no soul (no pun intended). I think you should trade the F-Type R in for a later year (2019 or 2020) SVR. It's unbelievable. I've had mine for a month now and the thing is absolutely insane, I can't stop driving it. The titanium exhaust coupled with the fine-tuning they've done makes this car a terrific everyday, 200 mph Supercar. The Type R is great, but the SVR is just better, by far the most fun and alive car I've ever driven. I don't think there are many stock exhausts that sound better. On the used supercar market, the SVR is the best value- period.

I own a 2014 F-Type V8S and absolutely love it, my 6th Jaguar and the best car I have ever owned and the last car I will ever buy. I agree with everything you say about performance, looks etc. Even better it's a drop-top. It's also my daily driver and had been faultless. I recently attended a Jaguar meet and there were Jaguars of all vintages there, dating back to the 1930s, all lovely and special. Only model missing was the I-Pace. EVs just leave me cold, most seem to be disposable products like white goods. I can't imagine Tesla enthusiasts meeting up with their cars in 50 years time.

It’s simple, subsidies are required when the technology fails without them.

Great video as always! Silly question here…but where did you find the fitted jag hat? Apparel and hat selection from Jaguar seems quite limited and I haven’t found much elsewhere…

The paint job alone is a $25, 000 difference.

F-Type anyday, but as you say, let's keep having the choice, not having it forced down our throats. Nice one, Mark. Loved the 1st gear rip!!

Being that you own the F type R, what’s your opinion on an F pace SVR (sister car)preowned CPO? Worthy of buying or just many years of going to the dealer for warranty work?

Hi Mark I now own a 2016 Ftype V6S AWD (Can’t afford a V8) and it’s great to drive. Would you buy an electric F type if Jaguar producers one? I would, if I could afford it.

I'll take I.C.E. all day long. The excitement and passion is just not there with electric.
