I so, so wish this was the model for the company I work for. The number of times a deal is made and license revenue is kept high (more $$ for the sales person) but free consulting is thrown in (causing problems for margins on the project itself), it is truly amazing.

I've been looking into this. The way I've thought about doing it, was a percentage of net profit. But I'm definitely open ears to see what works best for everyone.
