I think Strickland hates influencers because influencing is largely (if not completely) fake. Whereas sparring is pretty much as real as it gets, short of a fight. BTW I'm not onboard with everything Strickland does or says but I agree with him here.

I have zero problem with what Strickland did, education is the key to growth and sneako got educated...A quick KO by Strickland would not have provided the correct lesson so Strickland carried him for 2:00+ minutes and then gave him a 30 second look at what could have happened...It should have been obvious to sneako after the first 10 seconds that he was just unharvested food for Strickland...The sneako's people are the ones who should be questioned for being this stupid...

This is an example of post modernist arrogance encountering reality. 😂

“Influencers” are a joke. Are people’s so lives so devoid of meaning they need to look up to poseurs like “Sneako”? This was pretty funny!

Calling out a high level fighter is massively disrespectful, its a complete waste of Stricklands time! And Strickland showed up and taught him a lesson at Stricklands expense!

You can tell when a martial artist is just messing with you when they don’t use their form. You could tell Strickland was throwing wide and wild something he would not do against someone with skills. Sneako got lucky Strickland was just in there having fun.

Personally, I think Strickland gave Sneako a lesson in delusional thinking, and inspired Sneako to train more. Great vid!

Strickland threw with zero technique showing that Sneako didn't earn the right to be in there. Sneako was using Strickland for views and there was zero benefit to Strickland for Sneako being in there.

Well said. I think Strickland sees most 'social influencers' as bad infiuences. And sees them as idiots, too.

Strickland 100% had to humiliate him. Mission accomplished.

This is the problem with some young guys like sneako. They eventually run into the wrong man.

That s a real dude, giving just a little taste of what real is, to a dude who's "made" it in a fake realm,

I think the way he ended it discredits the idea of him "humiliating" sneako

sneako humiliated himself. Strikland gave him credit for staying on his feet, which if he were really out to "humiliate" him he wouldn't have done

he was gracious given the circumstances. If he doesn't destroy him he sends the message that this kind of shit IS possible, and the next sneako might get himself killed.

his ass needed to be handed. he did it as instructively as possible. I particularly like "is this what you imagined it would be like?" Calling out the fantasy vs reality at the heart of it.

Look at that fool got arrested in Japan doing similar shit because he saw others get away with it.

When anyone, especially Sean is letting you punch them in the face & walking you down for 4 mintes while saying, your about to have a bad day. That has gotta be a bit terrifying & start to question-how do I exit this timeline?

Joe Rogan explains this perfectly. The average person has absolutely no idea what it's like to fight. They can't even fathom the vast difference in skill and experience. I've trained for about 8 years in various disciplines and I would never call out a pro. Even someone like me, who really only does it as a hobby and self-defense, can't ever compete with a pro. Those guys are something else. Then you have the champs above the pros. The Gap is just so wide. These influencers see the likes of Jake Paul and KSI and think that fighting is an easy thing to learn. They don't see that those guys actually have put countless hours of their time into training and preparing themselves. I commend Sneako for actually getting in the ring and taking the hits (and not dropping) but give it a rest, man. If he was actually serious, he'd take, at minimum, a year away from social media and train somewhere. He might get an idea of what it's actually like.

It's not an easy thing to do. You have to be willing to take the hits and feel the pain. Most people just can't. I've known a lot of people that as soon as they feel their first, full contact punch to the face, they are out. I boxed a golden gloves guy once and he went super easy on me and I still got knocked around pretty hard 😅 the gap is insane

Sneako did not call out Sean Strickland.
There are two meetings between them a few days before the sparring available on you tube to watch where Sneako tries to convince Sean to do a podcast. When he asks Sean to spar with him he does so in a respectful and friendly manner.

Strickland invited him to spar not the other way around.

I agree fully with your assessment of the situation Sir. In my humble opinion; well articulated.
