Once in a lifetime views, so glad I got to see it!

It was awesome here in NW UK. Once in a lifetime event. I ditched my AP session and put a DSLR on the garage roof to capture it. Wish I'd travelled to darker skies for a better view. Thanks for sharing the vid Luke, much appreciated. The night sky for me, is the greatest show on earth!

Wow Luke! That is spectacular. Great timelapse and music. Thank you for capturing and sharing this beautiful sight. We had storms last night in eastern Virginia and the clouds are rolling in again tonight. We almost never can see the Aurora this far south. Maybe later tonight. Need a lot of luck!!!

Awesome timelapse. I traveled about an hour north of Seattle and I was not disappointed. It is rare on our region.

It was amazing, my first time seeing one because I’m in Georgia I’m to south to see one but this one was so powerful even Florida could see it

That's really cool! What time did you see them? The AuroraWatch alerts started to come through during the day so I was looking out for them until midnight but saw nothing.

I am so happy you got to experience this Luke! It's raining here near Chicago and even when the clouds parted temporarily Chicago's skyglow obscured the aurora. I saw the eclipse and now you see the aurora, I think we are even now for once a lifetime views LOL. To be honest I rather had saw the aurora over the eclipse :-) Enjoy mate!

Hi Luke I couldn't see it from Cardiff Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 just noticed that the sky was bright and for some reason Cardiff bay has 8 powerful search lights rotating from the south east

Nice video. I was trying to shoot bodes + cigar last night and looking through subs now, there is a magenta gradient.

Nice job Luke, I've been up all night photographing this! Luckily I knew in advance as I had been monitoring the cme's coming from the sun earlier in the week. And for once the skies were clear-ish. Best display for several decades.

Was doing AP last night but I could not figure out why all the subs were washed out. Then I looked up and stood there for an hour, jaw wide open. Amazing.
